Absense

Hi guys,

I hope your all well and having a good week.

I haven't been blogging this week because of internet issues, but also because my dog is sick and in hospital(doggie hospital) as he hasnt been well for a while now.

Hopefully he will be home soon and feeling better, and all the internet issues(or lack of them!)will be resolved also and I can get back to my normal blogging.

I hope to be back Sunday or Monday.
I hope you all understand.

Monday's nails

Hi guys,

How was your weekends?

Glad or sad that it's Monday??

For today's nails I have gone for the classic french manicure.

It has been ages since I have worn this look, and I added a touch of glam by adding a little sparkly gem.

Here they are

They are not super neat, but my hands were very shaky today!
The colours I have used are my BarryM top/base coat, my Shisem in white, and my Revlon in barely peach.

Silent Sunday

The little things

Hi all,

How has your Saturday been?
Mine has been super BUSY!!!

I thought I would do a little post on making an outfit your own with the "little things" for example a piece of jewellery or a hair clip/bow or a clutch bag.

You can add one of those things and it can completely change an outfit, or make the outfit your own.
You can add a pop of colour or you can colour coordinate it all, that's the beauty of accessorising, you can just be yourself.
Also they can make an old outfit seem new, and it's a lot cheaper to buy an accessory then to buy a whole new outfit!!
Sometimes it's the perfect way to express ourselves and show our own take on the world of fashion.
I love to accessorise, and even do it with my nails and make-up too.

Review

Hey everyone,
I hope you have all had a great Thursday and are looking forward to it being the last day of the week tomorrow!

I am just going to do a quick review on the OPI DripDry.

I have now used this product 3 times, on myself and on someone else, and I can really say it's defiantly something I will continue to use, you apply a couple of drops on to your top coat and it really does dry them.
Obviously not to the point of you can start using your hands to do things straight away, but it does take away the normal sitting around waiting for the polish to dry.
It is very easy to apply, and it comes with a dripper, the liquid is very runny, but don't worry if it drips off the nail, it will just wipe off your finger like water.
It activates on the nails instantly, so starts working immediately.
It's great and it will be especially good if your in a hurry with your nails.
I defiantly recommend it.
It is slightly on the exspensive side, but it will last a very long time.

No shave Novenber tag

Hey guys,

So the current tag of the moment is the no shave November tag.
It's because November or Movember is the month where men grow moustaches and try to raise money for there given charity.

So here are the questions.

1. IS THERE AN ODD PLACE THAT YOU SHAVE? no I think I shave in all the "normal" places, although saying that when I was about 14/15 I did use to shave my eyebrows!!! EPIC FAIL!!!

2. IS THERE HAIR THAT YOU DON'T SHAVE, THAT MOST PEOPLE DO? again I would say no.

3. DO YOU SHAVE/WAX YOUR LEGS THE SAME AMOUNT IN THE WINTER MONTHS AS YOU DO IN SPRING/SUMMER? hell no!! I do tend to let them grow more in the winter, mainly because they are always covered up.

4. FAVOURITE HAIR REMOVAL PRODUCTS? I am just a regular Mac razor kinda girl.

5. HAIR REMOVAL PRODUCTS THAT YOU REGRET BUYING? ermm, I don't think there are any, because I always just shave.

6. ANY HORROR STORIES? well I have had some quite bad cuts to the legs, from when I have been shaving in a hurry, and I do have the scars that tell and remind me of this every time I now shave my legs.

7. WHAT'S THE LONGEST AMOUNT OF TIME YOU HAVE GONE WITHOUT SHAVING?
in the summer it was when I was in hospital for 4 weeks, and while that isn't that long on the legs, on the armpits that's long enough to turn into a gorilla!!!! And I did!!!

Nail art tools

Hi everyone.

How was your weekend?
Did you have fun?

Today I thought I would show you some of the tools I use when I am doing nail art.

So I will talk you through what they all are.

The first picture is obvious, nail art pens.
They are perfect for drawing on the nail, or for using an outline on the nails.
I couldn't live without them now.
Next up are my mixing trays, which I use to create colours, or for if I am doing ombre nails.
Then I have some glue, which I don't need to use a lot, but I might use a tiny bit of to stick anything 3D on.
Then I have gems and flower gems, I love adding these to the nails for a bling look.
Next is my dotting tool, perfect for creating dots on the nails, but I use this to stick on gems too.
3D bows are great for any event where you need nails that really stand out, they are not for the everyday nail(the bows catch on things).
I then have my moon stickers, perfect for french manicures.
Orange sticks are a must and can be used for a number of different things.
And lastly I have some nail transfers, I love using these and they are very easy to apply.

So there are some of the tools I use the most.

Silent Sunday

A tiny haul

Hey guys.

How's your Saturday going so far?

I just have a very mini haul of 3 new things to show you.

The first is new eyelash curlers, which I realised I didn't have in my make-up collection.
Everyone needs eyelash curlers in their life!! ;)

Then I got the OPI drip dry , which claims to dry nail polish in 5 minutes with just a few drops.
I say claims because I have never used it before and don't know if it works or not.
If anyone has used it, then please let me know if it's any good or not?

Lastly I got a set of 5 mini nail polishes, which I cannot wait to use.

I hope you can see the colours ok, there are some gorgeous glitter ones in there.

So that's it from my mini haul.

Marble nail fun!

Hi guys,

It is Friday at last!!!
Time for the weekend. :)

I was thinking yesterday that I hadn't done any marbling on my nails for a while, so I decided to have a play around with some colours yesterday evening.

These are the finished results.

What do you think of the finished result?

I went with all BarryM nail polish, not only because I like how it works in the water, but also because it's one of the cheaper brands of polish it's not so bad when you have to replace your favourites.
Because practising can use up a LOT of nail polish!!!

If you are wondering why the black? It's because I used it as a base coat on my marble nails, so that they were nice and dark.

My make-up storage

Hi everyone,

I hope you are all well.

Today I am showing you my make-up storage.

I use a plastic draw unit, it's not very big as I don't have tons of make-up, and I store my brushes on top in clear cups.

Also I am going to be showing you a picture of my dog Cleo who kept trying to stop me taking photos by blocking my view!!

So as you can see, in the top drawer I keep all my face make-up, then in the second drawer is lips and in the 3rd drawer is eye make-up.
In the last drawer is hair products and little odds and ends.

So that's how I store my make-up and keep it neat.
