New make-up products

Hi guys,
I hope your all well.

Today I have got new make-up products that are available to show you.

I will start with Clinique.

They have a new dark circle concealer called even better eyes.
Which can brighten the appearance of the entire eye.
They also have a new foundation,  called new pore reflecting solutions instant perfecting makeup.
It is super light weight so poreless without any clogging.
Lastly is a new mascara called new high impact extreme volume mascara.

Next up is a new product from NYX.

This new curved eyeliner is getting a lot of attention, because it makes it easier to apply because of the curve shape, holding it is easier(and should make it easier for people like me who have extremely shaky hands!!!)

Next up is new products from Maybelline.

There new fitme customised make up system, which includes foundation, powder and concealer.
The foundation is there first gel foundation that has no waxes or fillers, which Maybelline say can mask your skin colour.
Also if you go to the Maybelline site you will be able to get a free sample to try(and yes I have done this).
Also Maybelline has a new mascara called new volume express the colossal smoky eyes.

Lastly I have new products from Rimmel.

There new lasting finish lipstick by Kate Moss, there are 5 shades to choose from, so there is sure to be one that suits you.
And again a new mascara, new volume flash scandaleyes, which has a brand new oversized brush, for those who like a larger brush to apply their mascara.

Neutral eyeshadow palettes

Hi guys,
Did you all have a great weekend?
Do anything nice?

Today I thought I would share with you all some of the neutral palettes that are on the market, it can be hard to choose the right one, they are all quite similar and it can get quite confusing at times.

The ones I will show you are all popular brands and palettes that are used all the time by beauty guru's and make-up artists all over the world.

I will start with the two most popular ones out there.

The NAKED 1 and 2 palettes by Urban Decay.

Next up is a Mac palette.

As you can see very similar colours.
Now I will show you a smaller palette by Bobbi Brown.

This palette has some lovely shades in.

The next one is 2 smaller palettes by Nars.

And lastly a nuetral palette by NYX.

Again lovely colours.

It is easier to have all the choices together on one page to make the final decision that bit easier, as one palette might just have that perfect colour you were after, or you might just choose by the brand you love the most.
I hope this helps anyone looking to buy a new eyeshadow palette, but couldn't quite decide on which one.

Silent Sunday

New nails.

Hey guys,

Are you all having a fab Saturday??

Weather is nice for a change!

Today I have got new nails to show you, using my new Nars nail polish which I love.

What do you think of the colour combo?

I love having fun with my nails and I am getting more confident now with my nail art.
Though I still need lots of practise! ;)

Mini haul

Hey everyone,

I have a mini haul for you all today.
A new foundation to try and 2 new nail polishes.

I am very excited to try nyx HD foundation and pore filler duo, I have heard great things about nyx products, and as soon as I start using it I will review it for you guys.

As always I am happy with my new nail polishes,  a new OPI and another Shisem one to add to my collection.

So that's my mini haul of beauty products, I cannot wait to try all the products.

7 Deadly sins of beauty tag!

Hey guys,

Here is another tag for you all.
My 7 deadly sins of beauty.

1. GREED-what is your most expensive beauty product/least expensive beauty product?
My most expensive is my Chanel foundation

My least expensive would be Vaseline, which I use all the time.

2. WRATH-what beauty products do you have a love hate relationship with?
what product has been your hardest to find?
The product that I have a love hate relationship with is gel eye liner, I love how it looks on but I find it so hard to apply on myself.

The products I would say I find hardest are Make Up For Ever products and China Glaze nail polish.

3. GLUTTONY-what are your most delicious beauty products?
My Laura Mercier tinted moisturiser and my Mac blush.

 

 

4. SLOTH-what beauty products do you neglect due to laziness?
This one is easy, it's using a primer, I always apply my base without a primer even though I know it goes on better with a primer.

5. PRIDE-what beauty products give you the most confidence?
My favourite is bronzer as it just gives my skin a nice glow and it doesn't take to long to put some on, and it always makes me feel better.
And also lip gloss.

6. LUST-what attributes do you find most attractive in the opposite sex?
I have to say I found this question weird in a beauty tag, but if I had to choose I would say it's nice to have a man who looks after his skin and is well groomed.

7. ENVY-what item would you most like to receive as a gift?
I have 2 items, the first is Make Up For Ever HD foundation and the second is Chanel Mascara.
I would love both of those so much.

My boot sale tips

Hey guys,
I hope your all well and having a good day so far.

I am going to do a post on boot sale tips today, I have done a few boot sales and picked a few tips up over time.

Most people have stuff to sell and boot sales are a great place for this, and also to make a few extra £££(let's face it we all need that!!).

So here are some tips,

1. Take plenty of change.
You will surprised by the amount of people that want to pay with a £10 note when an item is 50p!!

2. Take lots of carrier bags.
You will get asked for them a lot!!

3. Beware of early morning traders.
They swarm around your table to offer you a "good deal" only to go and sell your stuff at a higher price at there tables!!

4. Have prices in mind.
It is very easy to get flustered when there are a lot of people at your table all trying to haggle at the same time!

5. Stay firm on your prices at the start of the day.
No you are not going to sell that bag labelled £3 for 20p!!

6. Drop prices at the end of the day.
If your not someone who does boot sales all the time, and you want to get rid of your bits, then I suggest selling it all off really cheap in the last 1-2 hours of the day.

7. Try not to spend more then you make.
It's so easy to go around buying stuff that is "such a bargain" but the idea is to try and make a little money!

8. Stay warm.
If doing a boot sale at this time of year it can get very very cold, so wrap up and if you have it stand on a piece of cardboard(as this stops frostbite in your feet;0).

9. Look out for people coming up to your table in groups.
They normally have strategies in place where one will distract you and another helps themselves to something they like the look of!!

10. Lastly have fun!!
This is very important because boot sales are hard work, and it can be a long day, so rope in a friend or family member to help.

So that's my tips, these are based on all boot sales that I have done over the years and had to learn from!!
I hope they help anyone who was thinking of doing a boot sale in the future.

Exciting Monday!

Hey everyone,
I hope you have all had a good weekend.

I had a surprise today as my sister and her husband brought me some presents!!

I got a nail polish from  my wish list(see blog post my nail polish wish list), nail art pens and a nail art book.

These are all gifts I really wanted and I couldn't be happier(thank you Camilla and George) :) :).

The nail art pens and book are from River Island and the Nars nail polish is from Selfridges.
