September favourites

Hi everyone,
Wow cannot believe it's the end of September already, this year really is flying by.
So as it's the end of the month it's time to share my favourite products from September with you all.

Firstly a nail varnish brand that I only discovered really at the end of August, but I have used loads this month and I love it.
It's Sally Hansen Xtreme wear.

I only have 4 so far, but I hope to add to this soon, as they really are great.
If anyone would like a review then let me know.

Next up, still on nail varnish this is my new favourite base/top coat.
It's the Barry M one and I love this.
The best thing about it is the fact that it has 2 small ball bearings at the bottom and therefore doesn't take the colour from the nail varnish(as so many do), I normally end up with a weird colour top coat as the colours all just mix together.

Next up is lip gloss, I have 2 in this section that I have been loving this month.
The first is a Mac one and the second is a ModelsCo lip pumper(and I love the way this makes my lips tingle).

Now moving onto my hair, I always use John Freida, but I normally use the thickening shampoo and conditioner, but this month I have been using the frizz-ease ones, and I love them.
My hair was getting beyond frizzy, but this has tamed it a lot!!! I love.

Also this month I have been loving baby wipes, they are just so good for everything, and I love having a pack to hand.
And lastly, as we have been having some cooler weather, it has been time to get out the trusted Ugg boots, I know people have a love/hate relationship with Uggs, but I couldn't live without them.
They are so comfy and go with a lot(which is why I have 5 pairs!!!).
Perfect now we are in Autumn.

So that's it for September favourites.
I hope you all enjoyed this blog and I hope you all have a FAB Saturday. X

Hey guys,
Just a quick post about a change of plan for tomorrow's post, it will now be my September favourites.

I hope you enjoy. X

New nails

Hi guys,
I hope you are all glad that's it's Friday today.

I painted my nails last night, again I was practising my marble technique, so I thought I would show the results, I went with 4 colours, two pinks and two purples.

And this is what the nails looked like when I was done.

They don't look to bad, but I will keep practising.
I will be showing you my new trainers in a blog post tomorrow.
Have a good Friday everyone. X

Autumn Trends

Hi guys,
I just thought I would tell you about and share a few Autumn trends with you, these will be the kind of trends that will be hitting the high street now.

So first of nails and make-up.
On the nails blues, greys and purples are the key colours, and a big trend for make-up is a very nude look with very stand out red lips.

Next up a big trend is equestrian, so think knee high boots, leather, jodhpurs, capes and scarves tied around the neck.

Another trend is knits, think jumpers, cardies all with funky patterns and eye popping colours.
Also the big colours are red and pink, and these colours are being worn together.

Lastly for a more dressed up look the big trend is embellished dresses and skirts.
So there are a few of the Autumn trends that I picked out for you, there are of course more and everyone has a different take on these styles.
But we can all have fun updating our own wardrobes, by mixing different items that we wouldn't have done together over summer.
Or we can go out and buy a few key pieces that will see us through autumn and winter(this idea is my favourite).

I hope you have enjoyed today's blog. X

Monday's Nails

Hi everyone, it's Monday and the weather is super bad!!
Lots of rain and it's cold. :(

So my nails from over the weekend are done with a colour I have never used before, and it is one from my recent nail haul.
I choose this polish because it's supposed to have a jelly effect on your nails.
By this I mean it kind of makes the nails look a bit plastic and almost like fake nails. I didn't know how this would work or look, but I did love the finished result. 2 coats and topcoat and my nails were very shiny and did look almost plastic, I will defo be buying more of this brand in future.
I purchased it from ebay and it was under £3 so a bargain!

It doesn't show up as well in photos, but I really loved the finished results, and I hope you do too.
Enjoy your Monday everyone. X

Mascara

Hi everyone,

I hope you are all well.

I am doing a post today about the mascaras I wear.
I have 3 main ones, and a travel sized one that I take in my make-up bag.
The first is Rimmel London Max Bold Curves, which has a wide wand with a curve, this does give great curve on the eyelash especially if you haven't curled your lashes.
The down side is that if you have quite small lashes or if you want to do the bottom lashes, then the brush is quite big and can smudge mascara onto you.
The second is again Rimmel London and it's glam eyes, Day to Night mascara, this has two brushes, one that you are meant to use in the day and another for nighttime, the day brush is bigger for volume and the night brush is very slim for length, now I don't really use this as a day to night mascara, I just use whatever wand I need at the time, and the slimmer wand is great for lower lashes too.
Downside is that this mascara dries out very quickly, although it isn't too expensive.
Third Mascara is YSL Volume Effect, I love this mascara as the wand is just right, and really separates the lashes well, whilst also giving volume.
The downside to this mascara is the price, with it being well over £20, which is a lot especially if you are on a budget.
Lastly I have a sample Chanel mascara which I love and it will be my next purchase when I need a full size mascara.
All of these mascaras are in black, as that is really the only shade I wear.

I hope this was helpful. X
