I'm back

Hey everyone,

Sorry for long absence, I was in hospital as I said and then when I came out I got quite ill!! :(
Still not 100% but I really miss blogging, so I am back.

Today I have got 2 new nail varnishes to show you, both brands I haven't used before.
Revlon and Sally Hansen,

These are both colours I have seen used a lot by bloggers and on pinterest, so I thought I would give them a try as they are both fab colours.
Once used I will review them here.

Coming up tomorrow my August favourites(I cannot believe September is here!!!)

Monday's nails

Hi everyone,

I hope you all had a great weekend, and enjoyed sunshine.

But It's Monday again!!!! Time just flies by(how is it already the 20th of August???).

Anywho back to nails, I have used my new Butter London nail varnish, on my toes though as I cannot paint my fingers because I am going into hospital tomorrow morning.

The colour is so nice, and I really like the way it went on, although I did have to do a fair few coats to get the colour really bright, but each coat dried super quick, so that was good.

As I mentioned earlier I am going into hospital tomorrow morning, and I am staying in until Friday.
So there won't be any blogs :( on those days, as good old Charing Cross hospital has no wifi or internet of any kind!!!

Silent Sunday

Fun Family day

Hey everyone,
I hope everyone is enjoying their sunny Friday.

I have had a great day today seeing family, meeting baby Jacob for the first time(Katie and Steve he is super cute).

It's been all about family, fun in the garden, food and just having a great time with each other.

And now it's the weekend where we enjoy even more relaxing!!!!

My sisters especially enjoyed playing the board game hungry caterpillers with our niece(who kept winning!!).

I hope they don't mind me putting this photo up!! ;)

Not feeling well :(

Hi everyone,

How are you all? Glad it's Thursday?

I am not feeling well today so sorry for no blog(I have zero energy).

But I am very much looking forward to seeing my cousin and her husband tomorrow and her little girl and new baby boy, born on the 7th August so he will be 10 days old(tiny baby).

Make-up in a rush

Hi guys,

I hope your all well.

I just thought I would share my 3 fav make- up pieces for when I am in a rush.
For the times when my skin is so bad that I just cannot leave it bare.

These are the 3 things I will reach for when I know I have 5 minutes to do something.

The Larua Mercier tinted moisturizer in the shade sand is brilliant, I love using it and it gives great coverage.
The Mac blush in shade warm soul is also great as it gives a nice subtle hint of blush, but is also great to contour with.
Lastly is YSL Touche Eclat radiant touch, which I use under my eyes, around my nose and on any blemishes and to highlight my cupids bow.

So this routine doesn't take me longer than 5 mins, and after I can look half normal again, which is a result in my eyes!!! X

New nail varnish

Hi everyone,

I have got a new nail varnish to talk about today, it's a brand that I am sure you will all know about or of heard of.

It is Butter London, their nail varnish is free from formaldehyde, no toluene and no DBP.
So super safe to use.
I am very excited to use the nail varnish and will review here once I have used it.

Monday nails

Hi guys,

How's everyones Monday been??

As seems to be every Monday I have painted my nails for the week ahead.
I have gone for neon pink, with a black glitter ring finger.
Nice and bright.

So pretty(inspirerd by all the athletes at the olympics who all had great nails).
The Rimmel is in shade Black out and the top coat is Boots number 17.

I have a new nail varnish to blog about tomorrow :) X

Silent Sunday

Sweets and ice-lollies

Hi everyone,

It's FRIDAY!!!!
It's the weekend and it has been so sunny(read hot and sweaty), I hope the nice weather is here to stay.
Today I had my 2 nieces and nephew for a couple of hours which was lovely, we decided after 2 full Barney dvd's to head for a walk to the shops.
So it was hats on and out we went, they all got to choose what they wanted and only my nephew choose an ice-lolly.
My 2 nieces choose sweets, fruit pastels and smarties.
We had a great time all holding hands and walking along(there ages are 5,4 and 2).

So a fun Friday and I am now just relaxing and watching some olympics(diving).

Growing fruit

Hey everyone,
I hope you are all enjoying the sunshine we've had today.

So this is just an update on the fruit I have been growing, I showed you all pictures of the fruit a week or so ago, so now I will some updated photos up.

So as you can see my berries blue and black are really coming on.
It will be time to  pick the blueberrries soon, not quite time for the blackberries yet as you will be able to tell from the colour of them.
The apples are really doing well too, growing all the time.

I can't wait for pear, oranges and lemons next year.

Olympic medals

Hey guys,

As everything around us is all about the olympics and how many medals team GB has got, I thought I would use this as inspiration to paint my nails.

Here are the colours I used,
In order
1. Models Own in gold rush.
2. Virgin vie bejazzled from a set of 4.
3. Nicole for OPI make u smile.
4. Virgin vie bejazzled from the same set(which I don't think is still available).

So what does everyone think of my gold, silver and bronze nails??

Tweezing!!!

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to let everyone know about my obsession with tweezing my eyebrows!!
I do it every day(yes everyday), even when I go into hospital I get one of my sisters to tweeze my eyebrows(which the nurses find quite funny!!).

It is because I have jet black, really thick eyebrow hair, I used to get them waxed but now I just pluck them.
Because of all this plucking, I also have an obsession with tweezers, I like tweezerman as they are super sharp and last the longest.

I have just got a new pink neon pair which I love.

So that's my collection.

Anyway I'm off for a little tweezer session!!!:):) X

Is L'EAU D' ISSEY Issey Miyake.

Number 1.

Is Thierry Mugler Angel.

I love all of these perfumes at the moment, and it was really tough to decide which ones I loved the most, I went with the order of what I wear the most.
They are all really strong smells, that have a sweet undertone, so I obviously am drawn to the same kind of smells in the ones I choose.
Although number 3 was a present, it is a lovely oriental smell.

Silent Sunday

Pastel nails

Hey guys,

Are you all excited it's Friday??? The weekend is here!!

I have decided to go pale on my nails for the weekend, as I am having a chilled relaxing weekend.

Well I have got gardening I want to do, but pastel it is.
I have gone for Dior Addict in shade Mauve Glow, it is a lovely nail varnish and a lovely colour.

I have had to use old pics(sorry) because for some reason I cannot upload new ones at the moment.

July favourites

Hey guys,

Here are my top 5 favourite products for July,

Number 1

As you all know I really like this cream, this is my second bottle now, and I really think it has made a difference to the surface of my skin where I have been using it(espcially the back of the thighs where I have the dreaded cellulite!!).

Number 2

I have been using this on my face at night because my skin has been very sensitive and super dry lately, and this really helps it to calm down, it's a brilliant product to have.

Number 3

I have loved having this product, while I don't really wear a lot of make-up at the moment, when I have a really bad skin day I just apply this and it brightens up my skin and makes me feel almost normal again!!

Number 4

Again because of my sensitive skin, I have been using this in my baths and I love it, you only need a little and it leaves your skin feeling silky smooth.

Number 5

And last but by no means least, I am still addicted to using my Revlon lip butter in cupcake, it's just so soft on the lips and the colour is great too, I can't see it stop being my fav lip product for a while.
