Haven't been well :(

Hey guys,

I hope you are all ok, and not to down about the continuous rain that we are having at the moment!!

Sorry for lack of posts this week, I just haven't been well.
I had the doctors Monday, and the doctor I saw had a cold/flu type thing going on and was breathing all over me.....thanks for that!!
So by Tuesday I really didn't feel well and was sick! :( :(

Then this is what today consisted of,

I know I look good!! ;)
I had to drag myself out in the pouring rain to have a couple of scans done.
So it hasn't been a great week so far and I still feel ill.
I am hoping I get better and not worse, which is what normally happens.

I hope you are all having a better week then me, and I will try and get back to normal soon. X

A tag and a thank you

How are you all?
Glad it's Friday?

I am I know that!!

So the tag I have is the Winterlicious one, and I will get stuck right in.

1. Favourite winter nail polish?
I don't really have a favourite, I may slightly lean towards darker colours, but that isn't all the time.

2. Favourite winter lip product?
Well my lips get super dry in winter so I stick to Vaseline and Burts Bees.

3. Most worn clothing piece?
So far that has to be my coat!!

4. Most worn winter accessory?
My scarves, that are a winter must have for me.

5. Favourite winter scent/candle?
I love the smell of vanilla and Cinnamon.

6. Favourite winter beverage?
Mine is probably the same as a lot of people, a yummy hot chocolate with whipped cream and marshmallows(my mouth is watering just thinking about it!)

7. Favourite winter food/treat?
I love all things sweet, so it is brilliant in the shops at the moment with all the offers on chocolate and cakes.(I MUST EXERCISE SOME CONTROL!).

8. Favourite thing about winter?
Winter isn't my favourite season, but I do like it if it snows, or if it's a really cold day but the sun is shining and the sky is completely blue.

9. Least favourite thing about winter? The cold!!!!

Now to my thank you,

I recently mentioned about my dog being sick, and unfortunately on the 23rd of November I made the decision to end his pain.
It was one of the hardest things I have ever had to do!(and I have been through a lot!)
I miss him like crazy every day, and there is always something reminding me of him, and the little things he used to do.(I am welling up just writing this piece.)

But yesterday I received a parcel from my cousin and her husband and 2 children, and in it was a lovely card and a box of goodies.

It was a lovely surprise and it put a big smile on my face.
So a very big thank you to Katie, Steve, Amelia and Little Jacob.
I love it. X

New nails

Hey guys,

How are you all?

How cold is it at the moment, I don't like getting out of bed in the mornings as it is so cold.

So I painted my nails last night and went for full on glitter!!!

I used 3 polishes all Models Own and now my nails are very very glittery.

So I started with the Models Own Stirling Silver, then I used the Pink Fizz and I topped it off with Juicy Jules.
And as always I used my BarryM top/base coat.

Do you like them?

What's in my bag

Hey everyone,

How was your weekend?
Did you get up to much?

Today's blog is a what's in my bag.

So this is my bag of the moment, it's from River Island.

So first I have a small make-up bag with a few essentials in it.
Then I have some sunglasses from River Island(the winter sun can be very strong!)
I also have a couple of pens and a random lip gloss.

Then I have some hospital appointment letters.
My 2012 diary(I cannot believe it will be time for a new diary in 3 weeks).
And my new purse from River Island.

I also have some random sugar free polos.
My glasses case.
And my eye drops.

Then lastly I have my Ipad.
My Blackberry.
And my house keys.

I can now see why I need such a big bag, I also have to lots of medicine that I carry everywhere too.
As you can probably tell my bag gets very HEAVY!!!
So that's what is in my bag at the moment, I think I am going to have to add my gloves soon as it is getting very cold.

Silent Sunday

New nails

Hi guys,

How's your Thursday been?

How cold is it at the moment?
I was out yesterday and it was so COLD!!!

So I painted my nails, as I was bored of the french manicure look.
I have gone for a nice bright pink with an accent nail.

What do you all think?
I love the BarryM shocking pink, I think it is the perfect "Barbie pink" and it looks great on.
The Models Own is Juicy Jules and it's a great holographic silver with coloured flecks that change depending on the light.
I really think these two colours look great together.

November favourites

Hey guys,
How has your day been?
Mine has been ok, though I haven't been feeling great today.

So I don't have many November favourites to share, as November was a very stressful month for me and I didn't use or do a lot.
But my main focus was my skin, mostly the skin on my face.
Like most people my skin suffers when the weather gets cold and my face really dries out.
But because I suffer with skin problems and very sensitive skin on my face it can be hard to find the creams and moisturisers.
So I use a combination of three, depending on how bad my skin is.

I love using the skin food it smells great and is completely organic.
And I think Sudocrem has enough of a reputation now(although I actually get prescribed this by my doctor and have used it for a long time now.)

Another favourite this month has been my cosy fleece PJ's from Primark, I love them and could happily live in them!!

On my nails for the month of November I stuck to the classic french manicure, as you will have seen from blog posts.
I used 3 nail polishes.

BarryM top/base coat, Revlon in barely peach and Shisem in white.

Lastly I love the 2 heart stones that my niece choose for me when she was on holiday in October, they look great in my room as I have lots of heart decoration.

So that's it for my November favourites and I am sure it won't be long before I am doing my December favs, the time is flying by, it is less then 4 weeks until the new year!!! CRAZY!!

Back to blogging

Hi guys,

I hope you are all well.

Sorry for the long absence but I was going through some personal issues, but I hope to be back now and back to blogging as much as I can.

Today I just wanted to show you all some changes I have made to my bedroom and also that my sister has made to hers.
I really needed a dressing table but I couldn't find one I liked or that would fit into the space that I had, so after some thought I decided to make my own.
I already had units I could use and I just needed a shelf to slot on top of them, while I was thinking of what to use my sister was re-doing her room and had a mirror that she no longer wanted, it was just sat in my room when I suddenly thought it would be the perfect top for my dressing table.
I tried it and it was the perfect fit, as though it was made to measure.
So I am now the owner of a perfect dressing table and I love it!!

I also did a few other bits in my room and I will show you pictures.

I hope you like these pictures, I am finally getting my room where it needs to be.
My sisters room looks completely different to mine, but here is a sneaky pic of her room.
