Nail polish haul

Hi everyone,

I have a few new nail varnishes and I am just going to share some photos today.
Then I will shortly be talking about colours and brands, and hopefully a review or two.

As of today I haven't used any of the new colours.

Not the best

Hi guys,

As promised a review on the Rimmel pro nail polish.

I have to be honest I wasn't that impressed, despite using a base coat and two coats of the colour and then finishing with a top coat, like I always do when painting my nails, this nail polish chipped the next day!

Now I hadn't been doing much and I didn't have them in any water(during the time they were painted), but it started with a small chip on one nail, and then they all started chipping!!

So after two days this polish was removed, and I am not sure I would buy or recommend this product, to be honest it was over priced for what you got.

Mixing it up!

Hi guys,

So when I was painting my nails today I had chosen a Rimmel colour to use, the lasting finish lycra wear in shade 292 magenta. This is my first time using this nail varnish and this formula, it says it lasts upto 5 days so I will be interested to see if that is the case.

Look out for review of this nail varnish.

Anywhoo I decided to add a little bit of sparkle and ended up painting one nail on each hand(a different one on either hand) with Models Own np106 gold rush, and I think it looks fun and I like the look personally.

Fun statement jewellery

Hi guys,

Today I thought I would do a post on jewellery, we all love a nice piece of jewellery.

And it can really jazz an outfit up, and make an outfit we might have worn before look really different.
So I am all for adding some statement pieces.

Here are a few bits I really like.

Pastel mix

So I decided to mix pastel yellow and pastel blue on my nails for a fun spring look.

I have used Models Own blue in the shade Beth's blue, which is one of my favourite colours at the moment.
And then for the yellow I have used Boots 17 in shade lemon sherbet, which I think takes a few more coats than the Models Own to get an even look.

But overall I really like the finished look of these two colours mixed. X

March favourites

Here are a few of the beauty products I have being loving from March.
Firstly on my lips I have been mixing two lip glosses together, they are a Barry M coral colour in number 11, and also a Bourjoir effect 3D max in number 62 rose gold.
I love the way both colours mix and I have been using them loads.

On my nails I have been loving my glitter, and the two colours I have been using are Models Own pink fizz, and also my new OPI make u smile.

Now onto my skin, the moisturiser I have been loving in March is the Nivea pure&natural for very dry skin. What I like about this is, it's a thick cream but it sinks in really well and doesn't take loads of effort when putting it on, so that's a plus for me.

Now my fav perfume for March is, Thierry Mugler Angels, I love love love this perfume.

Lastly for my March favourites is my original batiste dry shampoo, always handy to have. But what I love even more is the fact you can get it in 400ml, which is a much bigger can than normal(I got it in Boots so not sure if you can get this size everywhere or not)and therefore lasts a lot longer.

So that's my March favourites. X

OPI

So I have finally painted my nails with my new OPI make u smile nail colour.
I decided I would just paint this colour on it's own to start with so I could see what effect it had, and also how much glitter pieces would come out.
And I am going to re-paint them this week over a colour.

I do like the effect on it's own, however it took quite a few coats to get an even look, so in future I will be only using it over other colours I think.

But I still think it's pretty though. X
